Buy a Rainbow Ribbon and wear it proudly so that the whole world knows that you refuse to discriminate against people based on who they love or who they are.
The recommended price of one Rainbow Ribbon is 200 CZK. This amount will meaningfully support the activities of Prague Pride. Minimum price of one Rainbow Ribbon is 100 CZK. However, this will only cover the production costs and the organisation of the campaign. The maximum price is unlimited.

Rainbow safe space
The World Health Organization removed homosexuality from the list of diseases in 1990. Since then, the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) has been celebrated on May 17 every year. You can buy a Rainbow Ribbon from our volunteers on the streets of Prague on Friday, May 17, as a symbol of the LGBT+ human rights movement. Or you can order your ribbon online, starting on April 15. The more rainbows in public spaces, the safer LGBT+ people will feel.
Why wear the Rainbow Ribbon?
LGBT+ people still do not have an equal status in Czech society. Fearing harassment, assault and threats, 44% of them hide their orientation in public spaces, 42% on public transport and 28% even from their families at home (research report Being LGBTQ+ in the Czech Republic 2022, available in Czech). This is why it is extremely important for them to see acceptance and publicly declared support from others. A Rainbow Ribbon pinned on your lapel expresses exactly that.
What am I donating to?
Proceeds from the sale of the ribbons will be used to fund Prague Pride activities that have a real impact on the lives of queer people in our country. Ranging from the support activities of the sbarvouven.cz counseling service and the LGBT+ Community Center, the fight for justice and equal rights for LGBT+ people and their families of the Jsme fér initiative, the education of teachers and those working in the helping professions, and the support of rainbow families, to the biggest cultural and human rights event for queer people in the country – the Prague Pride festival.
How much will I pay
The minimum price of the Rainbow Ribbon is 100 CZK.
However, this will only cover its production costs and the organization of the campaign.
This is why the recommended amount to pay is 200 CZK.
This amount will already meaningfully support the activities of Prague Pride.
There is no maximum to the amount you can choose to pay. We will be very grateful for your generous contributions; they will help us kick-start and sustain activities without which the world would be a difficult place for many LGBT+ people to navigate.

We will be happy to prepare an individualised offer corresponding to the size of the organization, the method of distribution of the ribbon (envelope with a message), and if required, the range of follow-up activities that we are able to organize for the corporate environment in connection with IDAHOBIT and June as Pride Month.
